"For ours is a battle not for wealth or for power. It is battle for freedom. It is the battle of reclamation of human personality." B.R Ambedkar
Many of the people that know me get really surprised when I tell them that I teach Tantra to successful and powerful corporate leaders.
This is because there are numerous misconceptions around Tantra. The one that is more prevalent is that Tantra is about sexual practices with candles, mantras, and incense for sensitive hipsters reinventing their masculinity while dancing. None of the CEO's I have worked with would be open to this limited vision of Tantra.
Tantric practices are a powerful path of liberation for men and women. They were created for us to become the most liberated and powerful version that we can be, including our sexuality. We achieve this by embracing the human experience and aligning our instincts, emotions, mind and spirituality to become whole.
Let me share with you my experience as a woman so you can understand how our culture has pushed out of this alignment.
Societal expectations dictate that enjoying my sexuality and liberating myself sexually (honoring my instincts) makes me a "whore."
Living from the heart and cultivating love and compassion (honoring my emotions) earns me the title of a "good woman."
If I choose to embrace my intellect (honoring my mind), I'm seen as a cold, controlling and frigid woman.
And when I live from my spiritual truth (honoring my spiritual path), I'm branded as a strange witch that has to be burned.
Society conditions us to believe that it's safer for women to reside in our hearts, as being a "good woman" is widely accepted and expected. We are then required to suppress the rest of us, including our sexuality. This is why many women struggle with lack of interest in sex.

This situation isn't any better for men. Expressing their sexuality (honoring their instincts) often leads to being labeled as wild and dangerous animals that only want "that".
Living from the heart (honoring their feelings) may result in being seen as an over sensitive artist or philosopher who will never attain wealth.
If men prioritize their minds, they are expected to be nothing else than good providers. And they should be extremely good at this.
And if they live in alignment with their spiritual truth, they are deemed gurus, which in our culture are crucified.
Generations of conditioning have led men to disconnect from their instincts, hearts, and spirituality. You have been made to believe that your true power lies in your mind — in achieving, providing, and succeeding.
This has created not only a lot of disconnection, but also a huge amount of pressure around performance. No wonder why men are struggling so much with workaholism, stress, anxiety, depression, numbness, burn out and sexual "dysfunctions".
I don't have to explain to you what happens to a system that relies only in 25% of it's potential. You get the picture.
Males sexuality more often is a reflection of this disconnection. Since they relate mostly with their mind, their sexuality is highly performance based. They feel they need to achieve a goal (giving your partner an orgasm or trying not to ejaculate), go into their heads and fantasíes, and try to be efficient spending as less time as possible to achieve the goal.
This is a sexuality that doesn't allow you to enjoy the moment, fully express yourself and unlock your sexual potential. You are missing out most of the experience.
When this sexuality is present you might try to find satisfaction through constantly changing partners, having more than one partner at a time (cheating), lose interest in sex, feel that sex is an obligation or develop a sexual "dysfunction".
Now, imagine a different possibility where you don't just rely on your mind but tap into the fullness of your potential.
Envision an extraordinary lover guided by instinct and passion, capable of releasing your full range of emotions in a healthy way, while simultaneously excelling in business and life through the power of the mind. Imagine living with a higher purpose, aligned with your calling and connected to your spirituality. This is the real purpose of Tantra.
Tantric practices were specifically designed for you to embrace this untapped potential, allowing you to thrive, expand, enjoy, and live a life that empowers you, aligns with your true self, and brings fulfillment.
Practices for men encompass physical movements, sexual practices, embracing emotions without fear, mindfulness, and connecting with a higher purpose. It actually takes a very brave and determined man to explore this path.
This is the essence of Tantra. Once you step into this power, not only will you be able to create a life beyond your wildest dreams, but you will also unleash the full power of your partner. They will become a liberated lover—loving, caring, compassionate, intelligent, and sensually captivating.
This is the kind of men, woman and nonbinary humans that we need leading the world. We have to do this together.
Embracing Tantra is an invitation to explore the depths of your being and unlock a life of profound fulfillment and connection.
